(DVR) GALWAY is a community-based organisation providing a counselling
support and information service, advocacy accompaniment, telephone
support and educational support programmes to women impacted by
domestic abuse. It also provides specialist training for professionals
and services for specific client cohorts.

SUMMARY OF THE POST:
We are looking to employ a highly motivated, highly skilled and
committed individual to manage and, with the Director of Services,
jointly lead the DVR team in delivering excellent services to
survivors of domestic abuse. The post-holder will:
* Continue the development and implementation of the systems and
infrastructure required to ensure the effective management and
operation of DVR, in accordance with the values and strategic
direction of the organisation.
* Manage the finances of the organisation in conjunction with Board
of directors and its Finance Sub-Committee.
* Work with the Director of Services to ensure the effective
management and operation of DVR services in accordance with the
principles of good governance.
